These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of RioPDF Tools ("the App"), operated by Rio Reply, and the website at https://pdf.rioreply.app. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable laws to use RioPDF Tools. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
License
Rio Reply grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RioPDF Tools on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of documents, signatures, annotations, and other content you import or create in the App. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use, convert, sign, and share that content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the App
- Upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights
- Circumvent subscription, licensing, or security features
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Payments are handled by Apple. Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple's App Store policies. Free features may change over time.
Third-party services
The App may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and optional features such as AI assistance. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Rio Reply is not responsible for third-party services you configure or that support app operation.
Conversion and editing tools
File conversion, OCR, markup, and signing tools are provided for convenience. Output may differ from the original document layout or formatting. You should review converted or edited files before relying on them for legal, financial, or official purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
RioPDF Tools is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rio Reply is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $50 if you have not paid anything.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Rio Reply harmless from claims arising out of your content, misuse of the App, or violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The latest version will always be available on this page.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your province, territory, or country may still apply. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the courts of Canada, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
